Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all finance and accounting operations (revenue, expenditure, receivables and payables) of the Company.
  • Supervise, monitor and check all day-to-day accounting activities and accounting entries for all transactions (sales, billings, collections, payables/disbursements, accruals, depreciation, etc.).
  • Verify and approve all accounting documents processed by the department.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all schedules, documents and forms.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements and management reports.
  • Provide financial analysis, budgeting, planning and forecasting.
  • Provide support services to the company operations.
  • Accurately maintain all financial books and records of the Company.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines of accounting activities, financial reporting, government regulatory requirements, tax compliance, and year-end audit.
  • Work with external auditors in providing all necessary financial data for yearly audits. Coordinate with external auditors to work towards audit findings and recommendations noted throughout the audit period.
  • Ensure compliance with listing rules and accounting standards. Responsible to report new accounting standards, amendments and interpretations to the Management.
  • Ensure accounting systems, standards, policies and procedures are properly carried out.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and initiate corrective actions.
  • Controls fixed assets inventory. Controlling and maintaining semi-annual stock of fixed asset.
  • Training of subordinate. Ensure each subordinate receives whatever training is necessary for job competence.
  • Oversee the cash flows and treasury matters of the Company.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Must have at least 5-8 years of working experience in the related field preferably from a BPO company
  • With audit background is preferred
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Good knowledge of government regulatory agencies laws and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of financial and strong budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate internal and external reports in a timely manner
  • Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of policies and practices associated with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, management and organizational skills
  • With strong computer skills and ability to effectively use an automated accounting system preferably Quickbooks.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills and keen to details
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions.
